Our Gym and Music Program

This fun filled program is another addition to our overall curriculum. 

This program gives our students and introduction to Physical Education and Music programs similar to  what they will experience in elementary school!  This program also adds further dimension to our benchmarks in the following areas: 

v  Communication, Language and Literacy/Listening, Speaking and Comprehension

v  Cognition and Knowledge of the World/ Social Studies and The Arts

v  Social and Emotional Development

v  Physical Development, Health and Safety

This program meets twice a month.  The teachers use our Big Movement Room and Playground area with small groups of students from the class.  GYMU explores age appropriate physical fitness, gross/fine motor skills, fun with music and rhythm, musical instruments and so much more!  Our teachers use monthly themes and specialty day to enhance our GYMU experience.
